These first six reviews are from my beta readers. Are they biased? Probably. Are they being honest? Definitely, as they know I always expect honesty and they are all good boys. But ultimately only you can make that determination.
After reading Transforming Tommy writing a review on the Amazon.com’s site would be greatly appreciated. PeterArchon@gmail.com.
"This is an intelligent seminal work of eroticism and a genuine window into the subculture of relationships based on ultimate power exchange. For those in the master and slave community they may latch onto the realism. So don’t let the urban fantasy moniker fool you. This book is based more on reality than you might think. For the voyeurs wanting a rare peek into this lifestyle they will find it fires the imagination and stirs the heart. It will make you question everything you thought you knew about dominance and submission. For those who enjoy a touch of mystery and fantasy mixed in with their stories they will love Tommy’s ultimate transformation. This one is well worth some of your precious reading time."

"Transforming Tommy is cheeky, naughty, and sexy. And while there is plenty of sex the author never stops with the character development, which is the heart of this story. The psychology demonstrated is thrillingly wicked. Particularly the dog training tactics to foster the bonding between his slaves. I can’t recommend this book enough."

Full disclosure, this review is written by a former houseboy of the author, Peter Archon. I share that to say that Mr. Archon (or, Sir, as I call him) writes very much from his own experiences, and it shows.
If you have found "Transforming Tommy," then you already know this book is for you. Either you are a submissive, looking for erotic fiction that reflects your particular needs, or you are a dominant, and you are also looking for erotic fiction that reflects your particular needs. Unfortunately, I can only share my experience with "Transforming Tommy" as a submissive. Because of that, I feel that this book probably is a better fit for a submissive. Particularly a submissive who is just beginning to explore his true nature. I am quite certain that Mr. Archon wrote it for the pleasure of seeing where Tommy's transformation would lead, but as a submissive, I found pleasure in seeing Tommy's transformation because I have experienced my own transformation at the hands of Mr. Archon.
The characters are well thought out. Each character has his own quirks, some of which might grate after a while, while others are endearing. In that way, they seem real, which makes their interactions all the more enjoyable. Of course, I craved more of Maximus, the handsome, articulate, and very in charge Master of the House. In many ways, I saw so much of Mr. Archon in Maximus... he was gentle, but firm, never harsh for the sake of being harsh. They both take their time molding a boy into what the potential of the boy shows is possible. It is done lovingly, but also at some remove. Maximus makes Tommy want to work for it, and Tommy does. Maximus, more than anything, is a noble teacher, and the right boys seek him out.
I fell in love with Billy. Physically, the descriptions of Billy and his interactions with Andy were very arousing. If I had the pleasure of being part of Maximus's House, I would love to have been the beta to Billy's beta.
Two themes stood out for me. I won't say too much, as I don't want to spoil the excitement for you, the new reader, but I will simply share the highlights. The first involved some highly arousing "puppy" play, which becomes more complex as the story continues. The second, in a way is related to the first, in that both involve some trance work and hypnosis. The interaction between the two themes is incredibly powerful.
The book itself is easy to read. No superfluous words are added. Each sentence seems to flow easily into the next. Before you realize it, you have completed the journey with Tommy. But before you do, you travel through Tommy's struggle to fit the outside world in with his becoming a slave for Maximus. Perhaps more than any other part of the book, this struggle struck me deeply. I experienced it, myself, and anyone who makes that journey will find that struggle to be more than real. That time before you make the final plunge is never easy. It is captured in great detail as Tommy transforms.
When Tommy finally is forced to decide who he really is, there is a sense of sadness and yet, for me at least, a sense of relief. Those who are slaves can only fight who they are for so long. Eventually, your slaveheart will win out, or you will be miserable. Few of us are lucky enough to meet someone like Maximus or Mr. Archon. If you happen to be so lucky, do the work necessary. As Tommy discovered, it is not easy to give up who we thought we are to become who we really are. But in the end, that work is worthwhile, and a life of service is a rewarding life.
"Transforming Tommy" is a wonderful first novel by Mr. Archon. I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. I also hope that Mr. Archon is already at work on what I hope will be a sequel.

"Transforming Tommy is a wonderfully engaging story of a regular guy whose life is not fulfilled. He is looking for that special someone that he knows is out there. In his search he meets a handsome older gentleman with the knowledge, resources and hypnotic powers to release that special something. After I read the first chapter I could not stop reading. The storyline is great, very erotic, and absolutely dazzling. It kept my attention throughout. It is wonderfully funny, sometimes a little scary and often fantastical with plenty of surprises. It is one of the top 5 books I have read in my life and I highly recommend it."

"This tome shows the evolution of Tommy in vivid sensual colors. He is a submissive young man who suspects his true slaveheart exists but does not fully embrace it until after chance meeting on his birthday with Maximus, a successful, dominant man. Although the book interweaves erotic overtones with daily life within Maximus’s manor, its true success comes forth through the voice of Tommy as he quietly deciphers the BDSM world and its workings with a quiet, but intelligent inner voice.
"Tommy’s exploration of this new world and acceptance of his true self is a reward for the reader, as we see his journey through his home life, work life, and the wanting of something more. We applaud him as he reaches for this goal, and feel a sense of relief as he finally reaches and embraces his true nature. As someone who subscribes to the BDSM lifestyle, I will state that this book insures Mr. Archon, a dominant man of incredible intelligence, charm, and linguistic talent, as a welcomed newcomer to this genre."

"It is a compelling read. I was engrossed from the start to finish. This book is not for the meek and timid. This is not Fifty Shades of Grey for homosexuals. It is much more sophisticated, geared for adults and with a genuine story. It is much more story centered and complex. This is also not some fantasy kingdom like in the Beauty Series or the Gorean novels. Transforming Tommy is a wonderful mix of Guy Baldwin and Jack Rinella’s instructional texts on modern consensual slavery, placed in modern 21st century civilization, centered around a heart-warming story of self discovery, full of inventive and intriguing plot twists, just the right balance of sexuality with a surprising fantasy finish and voila, you have Transforming Tommy."
